Holly Brisley born January 11, 1978 in Adelaide, South Australia, Australia, is an Australian actress and television presenter. Holly Brisley began her career at the age of 15 on Agro's Cartoon Connection (1995 97) and most recently portrayed Amanda Vale-Baker on Home And Away (2005 2009). Holly Brisley most successful film roles include Garage Days (2001) and The Crop (2002).

As Holly grew up, she excelled at speech and drama and joined the Paradise Performer's Dance Academy, where she participated in various classes such as jazz, ballet and tap dancing, and also took part in eisteddfods, winning many awards.[citation needed]

Brisley's family moved from Adelaide to the Gold Coast while she was still a baby.

Holly became engaged to marketing executive Paul Ford in Venice in 2005 and they married on 11 February 2006 in Manly, Sydney. They exchanged vows in the Cardinal Cerretti Memorial Chapel, in the grounds of St Patrick's and overlooking the ocean. This is the same place that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were married later the same year.

Holly gave birth their son, named Levi Harper Ford, at the Royal North Shore Private Hospital on 16 July 2009.

Holly has Coeliac Disease, and appeared on the cover of "The Australian Coeliac" September 2005 edition.

In July 2010, Holly climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa for a charity trek whereby she raised $50 000 herself for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation (a worthy cause that helps sick children). Holly Brisley had a near death experience having contracted pulmonary edema caused by the high altitude but is in perfect health now.

Holly Brisley career has covered much ground over the years. Holly Brisley's primarily known for her earlier work hosting children’s programs such as Agro's Cartoon Connection and The Looney Tunes Show along with World's Craziest Videos and various shows for foxtel. Holly Brisley maintained her acting career throughout this period with some of her notable roles being in Scooby-Doo, Garage Days and The Crop, Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure, and her extremely popular role as the resident vixen Amanda Vale on the ever popular Home and Away. Holly Brisley played that role for two years and made one visit back since departing from the show.

Family moved to the Gold Coast whilst she was still a baby.

Attended Mary Mount Primary School/ollege where she excelled at speech and drama, this led to Holly's involvement in school musicals and drama festivals.

Holly Brisley also took an interest in dancing and joined Paradise Performers Dance Academy, where she participated in various classes such as jazz ballet, tap and also took part in Eisteddfods winning many awards.

At 12, became serious about dance and starred in professional shows with the dance school.

At 13, joined Studio Search Agency on the Gold Coast and started her gradual climb to her tv and film career.

Current interests include rollerblading, trying to surf, reading, going to the movies, shopping with friends, touch football and surfing the net. [2000]

Holly Brisley unique raspy voice comes from the fact that she had throat cancer.

Is god-mother to her best-friend's son, fellow Australian celebrity Lisa Barry.

Holly is a diagnosed Coeliac. This means she cannot eat or drink, anything with gluten ie. wheat, rye, barley, oats or malt. Holly Brisley has appeared on the cover of the Coeliac Society's quarterly magazine "The Australian Coeliac".

Unexplained Love by Darrell W Roper

Mr. David Parker never imagine a trip down a lonely country road would lead to a unexplainable love for somebody whom he never met before.
